How to Become a Partner.Co Representative in Italy: Step-by-Step Guide
Becoming a Partner.Co Representative (IBP, Independent Brand Partner) is simpler than you might think. The process takes less than an hour, requires a minimal investment and involves no complicated bureaucracy.
In this guide, I explain exactly how it works, what you need, how much it costs and what to expect in the very first months, using real data from the official compensation plan.
Who can become a Partner.Co representative
To become a Partner.Co IBP in Italy, you need to:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be resident in Italy
- Have an Italian tax code (codice fiscale)
- Have an IBAN to receive commissions
- Have an active email address
No previous network marketing experience is required. You do not need to open a VAT number to start; below a certain annual threshold, commissions fall under occasional income. Check your specific situation with an accountant.
The start-up cost
The only mandatory cost to start is EUR29.95, a one-off fee for the Digital Business Tools. This includes:
- Access to the Partner.Co Back Office (online business management platform)
- Partner.Co Share(TM) App (official training and sales tools)
- Award-winning marketing tools
- Initial virtual training
There are no monthly fees just to maintain your registration as an IBP. To access team bonuses (NVO, Base Commissions and Savings Bonus), however, you must meet the qualification requirement: sell at least 100 PV to customers in the 4-week cycle that includes your qualifying week. These must be sales to people outside the network, not personal purchases. This is a specific requirement for the Italian market (Compensation Plan, September 2025 revision; AGCM FAQ, October 2023).
Note: If no customer sales are recorded for 90 consecutive days, the account is automatically closed under the Italian rules. To register again, you must wait 180 days from closure.
The step-by-step registration process
Step 1: Discovery call (recommended)
Before registering, I recommend a call with me. In 20-30 minutes:
- I explain the marketing plan with all the real numbers
- I answer any question, including the uncomfortable ones
- We assess together whether it is the right choice for you
People who start with complete information get faster, more solid results in the first months.
Step 2: Online registration
Once you have decided to proceed:
- You receive your personal registration link
- You fill in your details (name, tax code, IBAN, address)
- You purchase the Digital Business Tools (EUR29.95)
- You complete the online payment
- You immediately receive access to the Partner.Co Back Office
Total time: 15-20 minutes.
Step 3: The first 7 days
As soon as you join the team, you receive:
- Access to our exclusive training area
- My personal WhatsApp contact for direct support
- Guided onboarding with the first steps to follow
The first week is dedicated to getting to know the products. You need to use them yourself so you can recommend them authentically.
Step 4: The first 30 days
The goal of the first month is not to make large earnings. It is to:
- Personally try the products you have chosen
- Share your experience with 5-10 people in your network
- Make your first 2-3 customer sales
- Take part in the team’s weekly training
Retail profit (up to 30%) starts from the first sale, with no minimum threshold. Team bonuses (NVO, Base Commissions) activate when you reach 100 PV from customers in the qualifying week.
Step 5: The first 90 days
The first 90 days set the pace. Those who work consistently for 5-10 hours a week in the first 90 days, building loyal customers and solid habits, create the foundation for the following months. Those who leave within the first 30 days usually do so because their expectations are not aligned with realistic timelines.
How the earning mechanics work
The Partner.Co compensation plan provides weekly payments through 8 methods. The main ones for beginners are:
| Method | How it works |
|---|---|
| Retail profits | Up to 30% on every product sold to the customer at full price |
| New Volume Offset (NVO) Bonus | From 15% to 30% on purchases by your new customers (first 4 weeks) |
| Base Commissions | 15% of the volume generated by your team (Pay Line) each week |
| Savings Bonus | Additional 15% when your Base Commissions exceed $250/week |
Your Business Level (Activated, Business, Elite, Ultimate) is determined within the first 8 weeks and influences your NVO percentage: from 15% (Activated) to 30% (Ultimate).
EUR200 a week: how it is built through the plan mechanics
This is an example that illustrates the mathematics of the compensation plan. It is not a typical or guaranteed result:
| Activity | Volume | Potential earnings |
|---|---|---|
| Personal direct sales (EUR200/week) | Retail profits 30% | ~EUR60 |
| 2 new customers at EUR100 each | NVO 20% (Business level) | ~EUR40 |
| Team with ~EUR670 of weekly Pay Line | Base Commissions 15% | ~EUR100 |
| Potential total | ~EUR200/week |
This scenario requires an active team and a regular sales rhythm. In the first 3-6 months, the numbers are lower; progression depends on commitment and the network built.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to open a VAT number? Not immediately. Below a certain income threshold, commissions fall under occasional income. Once a certain annual threshold is exceeded, you need to regularise your tax position. Speak to your accountant.
Can I do it from abroad? If you are resident in Italy, yes. If you are resident abroad, you must register as an IBP in your country of residence.
Is there a minimum monthly sales requirement? To receive commissions, yes: 100 PV from customer sales in the qualifying week of each 4-week cycle. For the Italian market, this requirement comes from specific AGCM rules: the volume must come from sales to customers outside the network, not from personal purchases. (Source: Italy PV AGCM FAQ, Partner.Co, October 2023.)
Can I buy products for myself? Yes, but with a limit: max EUR5,000/year (including VAT) of personal purchases in Italy. Personal purchases do not count towards commission qualification.
Can I register and then see how it goes? With EUR29.95 you are in, you test the system and see how it works. If after 30-60 days you decide it is not for you, you can close the account.
