How to Become a Partner.Co Representative in Italy: Step-by-Step Guide

Becoming a Partner.Co Representative (IBP — Independent Brand Partner) is simpler than you might think. The process takes less than an hour, requires a minimal investment, and involves zero complicated bureaucracy.

In this guide, I will explain exactly how it works, what is needed, how much it costs, and what to expect in the very first months — with real data from the official compensation plan.

Who can become a Partner.Co representative

To become a Partner.Co IBP in Italy, it is necessary to:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be a resident in Italy
  • Have an Italian fiscal code (codice fiscale)
  • Have an IBAN to receive commissions
  • Have an active email address

No prior experience in network marketing is required. You don’t need to open a VAT number (partita IVA) to start — under a certain annual threshold, commissions fall under occasional income. Verify your specific situation with an accountant.

The startup cost

The only mandatory cost to start is €29.95, a one-time fee for the Digital Business Tools. It includes:

  • Access to the Partner.Co Back Office (online business management platform)
  • Partner.Co Share™ App (official training and sales tools)
  • Award-winning marketing tools
  • Initial virtual training

There are no monthly fees just to maintain your enrollment as an IBP. However, to access team bonuses (NVO, Base Commissions, and Savings Bonus), you must meet the qualification requirement: sell at least 100 PV to customers within the 4-week cycle that includes your qualifying week. These are sales to people outside the network, not personal purchases — this is a specific requirement of the Italian market (Compensation Plan, September 2025 revision; AGCM FAQ, October 2023).

Note: If no sales to customers are recorded for 90 consecutive days, the account is automatically closed according to Italian regulations. To enroll again, you must wait 180 days from the closure.

The step-by-step enrollment process

Before enrolling, I recommend a call with me. In 20–30 minutes:

  • I will explain the marketing plan with all the real numbers
  • I will answer any questions (even the most uncomfortable ones)
  • We will evaluate together if it is the right choice for you

Those who start with complete information get faster and more solid results in the first few months.

Step 2: Online enrollment

Once you have decided to proceed:

  1. You receive your personal enrollment link
  2. You fill in your details (name, CF, IBAN, address)
  3. You purchase the Digital Business Tools (€29.95)
  4. You complete the online payment
  5. You immediately receive access to the Partner.Co Back Office

Total time: 15–20 minutes.

Step 3: The first 7 days

As soon as you join the team, you receive:

  • Access to our exclusive training area
  • My personal WhatsApp contact for direct support
  • A guided onboarding with the first steps to follow

The first week is dedicated to learning about the products — you must use them yourself to be able to recommend them with authenticity.

Step 4: The first 30 days

The goal of the first month is not to make big money. It is:

  1. Try the products you have chosen personally
  2. Share your experience with 5–10 people in your network
  3. Make your first 2–3 customer sales
  4. Participate in the team’s weekly training

The retail profit (up to 30%) starts from the first sale, with no minimum threshold. Team bonuses (NVO, Base Commissions) activate when you reach 100 PV from customers in the qualifying week.

Step 5: The first 90 days

The first 90 days set the pace. Those who work consistently 5–10 hours a week in the first 90 days — building loyal customers and solid habits — lay the foundation for the subsequent months. Those who drop out within the first 30 days usually do so due to expectations not aligned with real timelines.

How the earnings mechanics work

The Partner.Co compensation plan provides weekly payments through 8 methods. The main ones for beginners:

MethodHow it works
Retail profitsUp to 30% on each product sold at full retail price to the customer
New Volume Offset (NVO) BonusFrom 15% to 30% on purchases of your new customers (first 4 weeks)
Base Commissions15% of the volume generated by your team (Pay Line) each week
Savings BonusAdditional 15% when your Base Commissions exceed $250/week

Your business level (Activated, Business, Elite, Ultimate) is determined within the first 8 weeks and influences the NVO percentage: from 15% (Activated) to 30% (Ultimate).

$200 a week: how it is built with the mechanics of the plan

This is an example that illustrates the math of the compensation plan — not a typical or guaranteed result:

ActivityVolumePotential earnings
Personal direct sales (€200/week)Retail profits 30%~€60
2 new customers of €100 eachNVO 20% (Business level)~€40
Team with ~€670 of weekly Pay LineBase Commissions 15%~€100
Total potential~€200/week

This scenario requires an active team and a regular sales pace. In the first 3–6 months, the numbers are lower; the progression depends on commitment and the network built.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to open a VAT number (partita IVA)? Not immediately. Under a certain income threshold, commissions fall under occasional income. Once a certain annual threshold is exceeded, it is necessary to regularize your tax position. Speak with your accountant.

Can I do it from abroad? If you are a resident in Italy, yes. If you are a resident abroad, you must enroll as an IBP in your country of residence.

Is there a minimum monthly sales requirement? To receive commissions, yes: 100 PV from sales to customers in the qualifying week of each 4-week cycle. For the Italian market, this requirement stems from specific AGCM rules: the volume must come from sales to customers outside the network, not from personal purchases. (Source: Italy PV FAQ AGCM, Partner.Co, October 2023.)

Can I buy products for myself? Yes, but with a limit: max €5,000/year (VAT included) of personal purchases in Italy. Personal purchases do not count toward commission qualification.

Can I sign up and see how it goes? With €29.95 you are in, you test the system, you see how it works. If after 30–60 days you decide it is not for you, you can close your account.
